What it is

A zoo, a coaster park and a garden behind one gate

A theme park with a zoo built in

Wikipedia describes Zootopia, the animal zone, as a small zoo with birds, giant pandas, sea lions, penguins, bears, lions, tigers and primates. A safari bus ride lets visitors watch ligers and bears while they stay on the bus.

Five themed zones

Wikipedia lists Global Fair, Zootopia, European Adventure, Magic Land and American Adventure. Between them they hold rides, themed streets, restaurants, shops and gardens.

Older than its name

The park opened on 18 April 1976 as Yongin Farmland and was renamed Everland for its 20th anniversary in 1996. Samsung C&T Corporation, part of the Samsung Group, runs it.

What this page is not

It is not the park's own site, and it does not cover Caribbean Bay, the resort's water park. It covers the theme-park ticket sold on Klook and the practical questions around it.

Five zones, gate to gate

The five zones, from the gate outwards

The park is organised in five zones. This is the layout in outline, taken from Wikipedia and VisitKorea, and it names kinds of attraction, not a fixed ride list.

  1. 1 · The gate

Global Fair: shops, food and lockers

Wikipedia says this zone is mainly for food, souvenirs and photographs as visitors enter and leave. It holds shops, restaurants and services such as stroller rental and lockers.

  2. 2 · Animals

Zootopia: the zoo, the safari and the pandas

The animal zone holds the small zoo and the safari bus ride, where visitors stay on the bus. VisitKorea describes Safari World as a safari with predators such as lions and tigers, and Lost Valley as a ride for seeing herbivores up close. Wikipedia lists the giant pandas under this zone too.

  3. 3 · Europe

European Adventure: Alpine streets and a wooden coaster

Restaurants in European architectural styles, a flower garden circled by a train, arcades and the Mystery Mansion share this zone with T Express, a wooden roller coaster added in March 2008. VisitKorea's 2026 page lists the same ride as Monimo RUSH.

  4. 4 · Storybook

Magic Land: Aesop's Village and family rides

Aesop's Village takes its characters and themes mainly from Aesop's fables. The zone also holds a log flume, a futuristic flying ride and a robot ride, according to Wikipedia.

  5. 5 · America

American Adventure: themes from American history

Wikipedia says this zone draws on American history and names a Western-themed ride called Rodeo among its attractions.

Rides are added, renamed and retired, so check the park's own current list before planning around one attraction.

Getting there from Seoul

Three ways to reach the park from Seoul

Taken from the park's own transport page and VisitKorea. Routes and stops change, so read the current versions before you travel.

Subway and Everline

Take the Bundang Line to Giheung Station, transfer to the Everline and ride to its last stop, Jeondae-Everland. A free shuttle bus runs from there to the park.

Regular bus

The park lists regular buses from stops around Gangnam, Jamsil, Sadang and others, plus routes from Incheon and Gyeonggi-do. Read the current list for route numbers.

Shuttle-bus package

Klook sells an All-Day Pass + Guide + Shuttle Bus ticket that can be cancelled free of charge with 24 hours' notice. Read its shuttle and return details before you buy.

The last leg

The Everline's last stop is not the park entrance, so count the free shuttle ride and the walk to the gate when you plan your timing.

Your return

The Everline has its own operating hours and regular buses their own timetables. Decide how you will leave before you go in.

The Q-Pass

A fast-track add-on for selected attractions, sold in A and B groups with conditional cancellation. Check which attractions your group covers before you buy.

Before you book

Before you book

  • Pick the date first

The All-Day Pass is valid on the date you select. It can be cancelled free of charge before you redeem it, so you can book ahead and still change plans.

  • Decide how you will get there

The subway needs a change at Giheung, regular buses start from set stops, and the shuttle package follows its own arrangements. The guide to routes from Seoul compares them.

  • Check the Q-Pass group

The Q-Pass covers selected attractions, and cancellation is conditional. Open the booking page and read which attractions each group includes before adding one.

  • Use the park's app

VisitKorea says the park's app has a Smart Reservation feature that lets you book popular rides in advance. The app is available on iOS and Android.

  • Treat the pandas as a bonus

Giant pandas abroad are on loan from China and their cubs go back there. Who is on show changes, so do not book around one animal.

  • Leave Caribbean Bay out of the plan

Caribbean Bay is the resort's water park, a separate attraction. This page covers the theme-park ticket only.

FAQ

Quick answers before you book

How do I get to Everland from Seoul?

By subway, take the Suin-Bundang Line to Giheung Station and transfer to the Everline, then take the free shuttle from the last stop, Jeondae-Everland. The park also lists regular buses from Seoul stops, and Klook sells a shuttle-bus package.

Is the Q-Pass worth it?

It is worth a look at busy times if the rides you want are in your group. Samsung C&T described it in 2018 as a fast-track pass for the busy summer season. Cancellation is conditional, and no pass promises a wait time.

Can I cancel my ticket?

The All-Day Pass and the Afternoon Pass can be cancelled free of charge before redemption. The All-Day Pass + Guide + Shuttle Bus can be cancelled free with 24 hours' notice. The Q-Pass has conditional cancellation.

Can you see the giant pandas?

Yes, Panda World has housed giant pandas since 2016, but pandas abroad are on loan from China and the line-up changes. Fu Bao left in April 2024. Check the park before you go.

Is Caribbean Bay included?

This page covers the theme-park ticket only. Caribbean Bay is the resort's water park, a separate attraction with its own booking.

Who runs the park, and who runs this site?

Samsung C&T Corporation, part of the Samsung Group, runs the park. This site is an independent guide, not run by the park or by Klook, and its booking buttons are affiliate links.

What is the difference between the All-Day Pass and the Afternoon Pass?

The All-Day Pass is valid on the date you select. The Afternoon Pass admits you from the afternoon only. Both can be cancelled free of charge before redemption.
